Jesse Blenn
Born in Kansas in 1956, Jesse Blenn was the first “gringo” in the Diamante Valley, buying his 3 hectare farm in 1983 for 150,000 colones ($3,400 at the time). After planting his farm to cacao and fruits over the following 4 years, and then many “lost” years back in the states, and one year in Borneo, he returned to his farm in 2008 to start over. He now has the best fruit collection in Costa Rica with over 200 species, some with great promise. Being an experienced mechanic and wanting to create employment for himself and the local area, in 2012 he started a project to build electric cars in Costa Rica, which was sabotaged by incompetent and lazy bureaucracy. Now he is working on an innovative pedal and/or electric folding recumbent trike that can revolutionize personal transport, and does NOT need government cooperation. In December 2012, Jesse had his first paranormal experience which has led gradually to many others through messages, hypnosis, and pendulum work.
